Lincoln High School Phase Two Project

In November of 2020, voters in the Gahanna-Jefferson Public Schools district approved a 10.69 mills bond and operating levy to fund Phase Two of the GJPS Master Facilities Plan.

PHASE TWO OF THE MASTER FACILITIES PLAN INCLUDES:

Additions and Renovations to High Point and Blacklick Elementary
Space for an additional 225 students in each building.

New Lincoln High School on Current Site
Space for an additional 600+ students.

Operating Funds
Filling the gap created by state cuts, increased technology costs and additional staffing due to enrollment growth.

New Lincoln High School Floor Plan Update

During the September 13, 2022 Finance & Faciities Board of Education Committee Meeting, Assistant Superintendent Jill Elliott gave an informative GLHS Construction and Floor Plan Update for the new Gahanna Lincoln High School.

The three-story plan includes a 24% increase in square footage compared to our current high school. With dedicated wings for performing arts, academics and physical education/athletics the floor plan also includes flexible extended learning areas and a few areas to grab a bite to eat.

GJPS Board of Education Chooses Site Plan

After examining four design options, a site plan was approved by the GJPS Board of Education on February 8, 2022.
